we lost the titles today. 13th April 2006.
we fought hard. we fought like hell. it freaking rained in the morn. (not fair how come everytime sabu and i race we race in such freezing conditions :DD) it was our best race set ever. it was the first time we were close, so close to chris and rn. we had never been this close to them before. im so proud of sabu!! and myself!! :DD
all of the other boats did our best, but our best just wasnt enough. its over. i know. but i cant help knowing that if l and s had taken part, we would have won the titles. one more gold medal. haiz. lin vowed to get back her gold medal at a div. go girl. :D i cant help wondering if all of us had put in a little more during trainings, would we have won?
i trained every spare day that i had. (except sundays) most, if not all of us did. WHYYY.
maybe because tms train much harder than us. actually i think they deserve to win. especially lm, chris n rn. BUT STILL.
maybe the titles arent all that matter. we are a strong team, not in terms of results, but in terms of frienship, of team spirit, of sportsmanship, of attitude and perseverance. can you imagine a team whom only cares about themselves, and row just to win, for themselves? im so glad that i have such an AWESOME team. love them to bits :DD
the race has already begun. National Schools' Canoeing Championships 2007, here we come.
on a lighter note, went out for lunch with the team and mr y after that at thomson plaza, hans. haha. made alot of noise and took alot of photos!! then went to ale's house. OMG HER HOUSE IS FREAKING BIG!!!!! she even has a pool!! its the biggest house that ive ever been to! looked really like a resort mann. rich kid. :DD hanged around, eat food and too pics again! haha. oh mann.. im really gonna miss ale, xp and wd after they leave :((
