sometimes, sometimes i wonder if taking art over music was a better choice than music over art. there issnt a right choice. just a better choice.
its so unfair. that i have to choose between art and music while those science ppl can get away with taking physics, chemistry AND biology.
i mean, IF i had taken music, ill probably be going for auditions right now. ill probably be teaching music instead of art. my friend just got into royal college of music. to tell the truth, im a little jealous. it used to be my dream school you know. until the point where i decided i would go no where being a pianist in singapore.
maybe i was just born in the wrong country. dont get me wrong. i think singapore is a great place to be and i would never migrate unless necessary.
my secret ambition is to be a piano examiner =)
had always been. always will be.
im emoing about music because i just played the piano for an hour and sang many songs at the top of my voice haha. its an addictive "high" that i can never get doing anything else, not even 100 m sprints.
i am starting my fellowship on thur!! im sooooooo excited. but im quite nervous too. im going to suck since i haven played for so long. i just hope i dont suck too much.
anyway today.
went for an english lesson and the class. its like. half the class either didnt bring their books or didnt bother buying. and they are sec 5s! o levels hello? scary right.
and and and.
my first lesson ever.
sec two technical class.
i can only sum it up in one sentence, "I nearly died."
and tmr,
my supervisor is going on course! congratulate me please.
i will be thrown into two rooms full of boys. ALONE.
the keyword is ALONE.
for my FIRST ever lesson with them.
im going to die twice. my only comfort is that they are at least from the express stream so not that bad.
and after today's class, i am confident that nothing can be worse really. so bring it on!
but but but my dearest friends, i will still greatly appreciate it if you pray for me haha.
anyway, todays sec 4 and 5 art class was fun.
my supervisor was like, "why are you all not colouring the background?! you all are sec 4s and 5s already do i need to remind you to colour the background??!"
well. typically this is a rhetorical question. so theres no need for an answer.
but one boy said, very matter of factly, "of course not la maam! we so big already leh. dont need you to remind us!"
hahaha. so cute.
and and and we are going to the art museum and 8Q next week!! YAYYYYYY. <3
