i feel so busy nowadays.
busy going out with people! haha.
thur night was spent with jotng. its always so wonderful to see her. despite us leading such different lives, i always feel as if we never left aitong when we are together. our ceaseless conversations make time seem to pass so quickly when i am with her. with her, theres no pretenses, no need to try hard to please others, to seem humorous, to look good, to be who i am not.
i miss the times where there was no need for words. all i needed to do was look at her and she would know what i was thinking.
its the same now. but yet its different now.
we are nineteen now.
no longer the twelve year olds we once were.
we are all grown up =)
eight years of friendship and still going strong.
thats almost half my lifetime. haha.
friday was spent doing up my photography slides in school.
i must admit preparing for one lesson, just ONE lesson from scratch is extremely tedious. its like a one person pw. haha.
anyway the sec fours and fives are supposed to make collages using different papercut and printmaking techniques. there was this guy who did this collage of people that looked aesthetically pleasing. then when we asked what it was about he was like, "oh. this man is looking at this man's dick, see how the eyes slant to the side? and this man is pouring milk on this other man's head..." you get the idea.

mer's house in the morn with abby. with pebbles the dog. i like pebbles. shes a cute dog.
went for lunch with abby at nydc.
sometimes, i have no idea why i hang out with such a bimbo. (i tell her that very often)
its very embarrassing when she flutters her eyelids and acts all bimbotic when i happen to be standing beside her.
if you dont know abby, you wont understand the degree of her bimbotic-ness. shes the ultimate.
her reply would be "but you are just like me!!"
that. is very insulting.
haha. because i can be extremely blur, but i am not bimbotic. really.
anyway shes extremely fun to hang out with!
we are planning to go get new specs, new skirts, new haircut and go clubbing together in the next month.
yayyy.
abbys truly one of a kind.
after that went to Henderson to do volunteer work.
abby asked me why i bother doing such stuff.
i told her i believe in it.
she didnt laugh. i expected her to actually. because everyone else whom i said that to did.
and she said she wanted to join me! yayy. now i have two new volunteer partners - kim and abby!
i really do believe in volunteer work.
because i am such a blessed kid!! haha. everything seems to go well in our "type" of lives. the lives of the so called top 5% of singapore (which my gp teacher never fail to keep reminding us) we get great families, great friends, great schools, great everything.
a B grade makes some of us wallow in self pity. a 5th place in nationals make us cry with despair. it really issnt fair is it.
henderson's kids are really cute too. and the people there are nice. kennard brought me around and introduced me to some of them. theres this kid who can touch his nose with his tongue!! omg thats like the first person that i saw who can actually do that. i remember there was one floorball training where all of us were trying to touch our noses with our tongues haha. and he could do weird poses like put his legs behind his head. its really cool. and they were using coms to play this word game. this kid and i were making attempts to reach level 20 of the game but we never made it past level 11 haha.
going for a visit to the singapore art museum tmr! my friend was like, "Singapore got art museum meh?"
and i thought we were supposed to be having an up and coming arts scene in Sing.
next week.
shopping with shufang.
food with tip people.
art date with kim and yilin.
art trip to red dot museum.
scholarship tea session.
nurture at tp/henderson.
H.O.N.S.U.M?? maybe.
yayyayyay what an exciting week.
