the exams are finally over!!
went seoul garden today. nice. the amount we ate was miserable compared to a table full of guys beside us.
went to watch world trade center after that. it wasnt a particularly good movie but it was a very sad one and it made me think about stuff.
i never really thought much about 9/11, considering that i was only 11 then. all i knew was it was a terrorist attack and lots of people died. the movie was based on the true story of two survivors, policemen, who couldnt see each other while being crushed by the rubble but talked to each other about their lives, hopes and dreams - to keep each other alive for more than 12 hours.
i wonder. if i was the one buried down there, would i have had the will power to survive that long?
the movie also showed courageous people, people who chose to go into the building even though they know they might have to die for it, people who came from across the city into the rubble to help save lives, people who went into the rubble to look for survivors, knowing that it might come crashing down any moment and they might die with it.
if put in that position, and with the ablility to help, would i choose to go in there?
this led to the big question of what i wanted to do with my life.
