Friendship.
We live in this world of pretense. If only we can choose who we want to meet in our lifetime, life would be perfect.
The distinction between good friends and acquaintances is a fine line. How many of us can actually claim that we have many good friends? Some turn out to be heaven's sent, others never make it past that line, while some fall from grace.
I believe that when you judge others, you should always judge yourself first. It is my mistake, of choosing the wrong friend, even when i knew right from the start that we would not click. Well, things didnt work out. What an experience. I thank you for teaching me the true essence of friendship. For putting effort into this friendship. But due to circumstances, I will never regard you as a good friend again.
When the world turns away from us, maybe we should question, "What have I done?" instead of "Why are they doing this to me?"
There are many times where we have to see the big picture and not focus on minute details, or else we may end up being frustrated with everything. Take a painting for example. There is no such thing as a PERFECT painting. If the artist keeps focusing on the drawing itself, he will never go far.
A friendship deteriorates over time as one remembers all the little things that went wrong, and not the good things that happened, and mull and mull over these things till the extent where things start breaking up. So what is the purpose of remembering the bad stuff?
I cant think of any.
Sadly, we still have time left together. Lets not make each others lives miserable and stir clear of each others paths.
We are not worth it, remember?
