oh gosh stc is like damn fun!! really really.
syl n j didn come. too bad.
N I SURVIVED!!
I M STILL ALIVE.
first day kayaking. wnt for expedition. so cool!! we r lyk e onli ppl in e whole sch who haf ever wnt on an expedition!! at first i was like one round?! no problem lahh. how big cann ubin be? -shrugs- wow. UBIN IS HUGE. we kayaked for like 5-6 hrs? n we wnt into a mangrove. n kept banging into trees. lol. a branch smacked me in e face. blinded. one of e officers held out tis claw-look-a-like branch and went ITS COMING FOR U... -rolls eyes- lunch was freezing. absolutely. i felt like a penguin. almost till end my whole arm felt like breaking. not exaggerating. i kept thinking abt capsizing. my hands were really numb. e onli thing that kept me going was 'im gonna reach e shore' n if i stop kayaking my partnet would die. wow. very funn. very tough. but i wanna do it again.
after tat took bump boat bck to ubin. we walked n walked n walked. e sky got darker n darker n darker. set up tents n dinner. we ate macoroni. i thought i was eating flour. then night time played a few games. then sleep. nice mann. music frm malaysia! n the stupid rain. anyway my group first for sentry duty. put sulphur on e floor. e three of us kept laughing. at nothing. and cursing e music frm malysia. guess we were too tired n on e brink of insanity. thn we wnt toilet. thn i started saying "u know ubin has a lot of..." n we started freaking out. even wif e lamp. n we could only see 1m ahead of us. THE TOILET HAS NO LIGHTS. xw didnt go toilet in e end. cause i freaked her out. heehee.
topo nxt morn. 12 checkpoints k. we rock. we were quite high i guess. k maam kept going 'talk to me talk to me im bored'. thn she started comparing skin colour. lols. we went to e top of tis lake n it was like oh my gosh. WOW. everyone felt like jumping. it was like... tis peaceful green floating thing...serene n perfect. u just haf ta see it for urself. unbelievingly discribable. lunch was great tis time. cause it was packed food.
rafting nxt. so cool!! our raft was actually foldable! like how many rafts in e world r actually foldable?? when mr w got onto e raft it sort of sunk. well...
back to school!!! dinner hmm. bland. very. well no taste at all in fact. ms ng taught us how to belay. thn we slept. no sentry duty tat night. our nice instructors did it for us. fantastic night.
nxt day was OBSTACLES!! at moe dunno wad. tried tis thing similar to flying fox. plus e fact that it was ALOT higher and ALOT freakier. e whole thing shook when i climb. wow. e instructor kept clipping stuff on e n just uttered one word"jump". i did. WHOOSH. WHEE. NICE. then tried other stuff like chopsticks, sky walker, abseiling, rock climbing n team building games. some ppl r so mean. it was always 'my turn now' n not 'who haven gone yet?'
bck to sch for pioneering. badd. very. morale super low. speed super low. everything low. had to pull n pull n pull. our hands couldn even straighten properly after tat.
thn outdoor cooking. quite successful i guess. food was passable.
night time was horribl e. mass crying session. maams were really disappointed wif us. they talked abt how they had not improved e past 3 days n how it was a waste of time n we might as well not go n they might as well not plan for any camp at all. thn they said we could do wadever we liked e nxt day n they were gonna cancel their plans till dismissal n we could sleep anywhere we wanted and they wouldnt care. then they walked off. i was like HUH? e sec 3s said we were a campus. we shouldn divide ourselves. then they started scolding us. wells... then they said we were too quiet. should we talk when they were scolding us. nono. we planned wad we wanted to do e nxt day then apologised to e instructors n they said we should apologise to ourselves instead of to them. things went more or less back to normal.
for sentry duty eve maam was damn scary! she was like in tis semi conscious state n when we reported to her she sat up then flopped back down n slept n we thought wad happened!! hahas.
nxt day! PENTHALORN. wnt to amk swimmin complex n swam. lalas. 60 laps. teamwork mann. n i discovered something: i dont suck tat badly at swimming!! lols. then captains ball. we got into e finals! ( although there were only 4 teams) e final showdown was soo close. e maams were giving a commentary. entertaining themselves. damn farnie. aww we lost. but it didn really matter. thn had synchronised swimming! -laughs- all e grps did really funny stuff. it was all legs n arms. damn farnie. WE WON! cant believe it. yea... thn wen to bishan park n jogged 2.3km. bekah went 'im okay i wont stop halfway' thn e next moment she couldn breathe! freaked us out. thn had tis foot reflexology thingy. e instructors kept saying stupid stuff like 'tat stone is sharp!' lol.
bck to sch. our grp won. charms. yuck. n mayday. 100 plus as reward. wow. fantastic. rewarding. thn took fotos n gave ms ng our farewell presents. mass crying again. i almost cried too. even yh maam cried.
end of camp. went macs. thn home.
THIS. my first n last stc. really enjoyable. one of e most memorable times in my life. learnt alot. but 4 mins wasnt enuf time to write everything on a tiny piece of paper. gonna miss np alot. luv u guys.
